Ruby Holler

Ruby Holler is about Dallas and Florida two of the main characters in the story and how they have travled through different foster homes. Two people - Tiller and Sairy want to adopt them. The problem in this book is that Dallas and Florida need to find a good home that they like, and there are people who love and trust them the way kids deserve to be.

This book is very good. I recomend this book if you like realistic fiction. On a scale of 1-10 i would choose 8 because this book is very good. Part of the reason I like this book is because it has a very good ending.

Walk Two Moons

Walk Two Moons is an adventure book. Salamanca and her grandparents try to go to Idaho to see her mom. They stop at lots of places where her mom's been. Grams and gramps are really silly.

Walk Two Moons is a story with in a story. Mysterious notes are left at Phoebe Winterbottom's house and they think they know who left them. Phoebe thinks her mother has been kidnapped by the ? .

Three people liked it, but one person did not. This book is filled with twists and turns. There are lots of surprises.The people that liked it was because it had great details and suspense.

Surviving the Applewhites (both)

Jake Semple is a very big troublemaker. He has been kicked out of every school that he has been to and is accused of burning down his old one. Now Jake is attempting to survive the Applewhite's school, which is a self taught home school that the Applewhites run. Jake is struggling to deal with the youngest Applewhite, Destiny, and their dog Winston who is glued to Jake and will not leave Jake alone.
We rate this book a 1.6 out of 10 stars.

Elijah: This book was mediocore i would recommend this book to third or fourth graders.

Adrianna: I thought that this book was not very good. There is no surprises in this story. I think it is boring and i would not recommend this book to anyone.

Jessica G: I would recommend this book but only to a younger audience.

Ethan: I thought this book was terrible. I would not recommend this book to anyone. I have nothing good to say about this book except that it only has a few funny parts. (no suspense)

Dylan: This book has potential but it is flawed and could use major work to improve upon. I would not recommend this book to anyone.

Walk Two Moons

When 13 year old Salamanca Tree Hiddle sets off for her journey with her two crazy grandparents she discovers that this journey is going to be far more challenging than it appears to be. Salamanca is on an adventure to find her mother in Idaho. During the trip there is story after story of the Winterbottoms in which Salamanca tells very well.

This is a pretty good book with surprising twists and turns. We find that this book is a very interesting because of the story of the Winterbottoms inside of the actual book itself. The part of the book that tells Salamanca's story isn't as interesting as the other events that occur in the book. We give this book a 7 out of 10 stars.
